e-portfolio training in early years

PBD specialises in early years training. All our early years assessors have practical experience of working in settings as well as assessing. The directors, Ross and Alison Midgley, previously set up and managed a chain of three day nurseries which each achieved outstanding Ofsted results. Their investment in training and development for over 75 staff during that period resulted in a deep understanding of what a good training provider must do to succeed. We believe this experience and insight, matched by the pioneering adoption of e-portfolios, make PBD unique in the sector.

We have delivered level 2 and 3 qualifications to many hundreds of learners. Our clients range from village playgroups to major national chains and Sure Start centres. Employers often comment on our professionalism, flexibility and good communication, which set us apart from many other training providers.

Our assessors give learners all the support they need - both in the workplace and at home.  All our learners have free access to eQual Learning, our own unique suite of interactive, web based courses.  Learners can access these courses via the internet, work through them at their own pace with support from their assessor, and complete assignments online.
