These City & Guilds qualifications are intended for learning support staff in schools and school-related settings, or those who want to work in that field. They cover the role of teaching assistants but have been broadened in scope to include new roles and responsibilities such as cover supervision, pastoral, bilingual and subject support and special educational needs.
